Bob D’Eith


Bob D’Eith has been involved in the music industry for twenty-five years in various capacities: author (A Career in Music: the other 12 step program), entertainment lawyer (D’Eith & Company), two time JUNO Award nominated recording artist (Rymes with Orange and Mythos), studio owner, label and music publisher (Adagio Music Inc.).

For the past fourteen years, Bob has been the executive director of the Music BC Industry Association, a non-profit society dedicated to the development of music and the music industry in BC. Music BC administers the award winning Peak Performance Project and is also the FACTOR affiliated office for BC.

He has served on the boards of CIMA (Canadian Independent Music Association) and CCMIA (Canadian Council of Music Industry Associations). Bob is the Past-President of the Western Canadian Music Alliance (BreakOut West and WCMAs). He is also on FACTOR’s National Advisory Board (past chair). Bob was the executive chair of the Host Committee for the Vancouver 2009 JUNO Awards.

Today, Bob is proud that he earns 100% of his income from his music and books!!

Bob Katz

bobkatzBob Katz is an audio mastering engineer who is known for his influential textbook on audio mastering and his recording of jazz and classical music. Katz has mastered three Grammy award-winning albums and one nominated album. He has received high critical acclaim from audiophiles and his book on mastering has received high critical acclaim, and some reviewers consider it the “definitive work on mastering” . He is also one of the most “respected mastering engineers in the business.” He has also invented a proprietary technology called K-Stereo and K-Surround. Bobby Borg

bobbyborgBobby Borg is a former Major label, independent, and DIY recording/touring artist with over 25 years experience. A graduate of Berklee College of Music with a BA in Professional Music, and UCLA Extension with a certificate in Marketing Management, he serves as a music business educator at Musician’s Institute in Hollywood and at the University of Los Angeles in California, and he also arranges educational programs with institutions overseas. As a music business and A&R consultant to managers, labels, and supervisors, Borg is also a prominent guest speaker at music industry events and a regular contributor to international music business publications. He is the author of Billboard Books best-seller The Musician’s Handbook: A Practical Guide To Understanding The Music Business and How to Market Your Music and Create a Buzz. Borg was elected Vice President of Special Events For The American Marketing Association in Los Angeles and was awarded the Volunteer of the Year in 2012.

Bobby Rondinelli

While playing with Rainbow, Rondinelli was featured on a performance recorded live in San Antonio, TX for MTV. His drum solo from this show was featured. Rondinelli also recorded the drum portions for the Scorpions’ much lauded and big-selling 1984 Love at First Sting album. Rhythm guitarist Rudolph Schenker wanted him to join the Scorpions full time but since they were the first successful German rock band in America the management wanted to keep the band German. He played with Black Sabbath on the albums Cross Purposes and Cross Purposes Live and was a member in 1994 and again in 1996. He also played in the bands Rondinelli and Sun Red Sun with Ray Gillen.
